Service Delivery:

Terry is responsible for the delivery of back office service solutions primarily to a varied portfolio of insurance captive, trust officer and financial services industry clients.Southern Cross Accounting Services seeks to provide a quality comprehensive back office service centre focused primarily on the offshore financial services industry. These services include, amongst others, accounting, financial statement preparation, investment and loss data reporting and analysis and quality, timely, cost-effective service solutions tailored to our clients’ needs. Relevant Experience:

Terry began his career with KPMG in Johannesburg, South Africa in 2002 where he obtained extensive manufacturing, pharmaceutical and automotive experience from accountant to audit manager levels.

Terry moved to KPMG in the Cayman Islands in 2006 where he was a member of the Structured Finance business unit and was involved in fund and structured investment/special purpose vehicle audits.

Terry joined Aon Insurance Managers (Cayman) Limited in 2008 where he was responsible for leading a team in servicing a number of insurance captives and progressed through his roles as account manager, senior account executive and assistant vice president.

In 2013 Terry participated in conceptualising and launching Southern Cross Accounting Services to be a quality, comprehensive back office service centre based in South Africa.

Terry brings over twelve years of relevant accounting, finance, and audit experience as principal and director at Southern Cross Accounting Services and seven years of front line offshore financial services experience in the Cayman Islands.

Professional Designations:

Terry received his Chartered Accountant (CA) designation in South Africa, in 2005. He is a graduate of the Rand Afrikaans University (RAU) in Johannesburg, South Africa, where he completed both his Bachelor of Accounting and Bachelor of Accounting (Honours) degrees, majoring in accounting and finance.

Personal Drivers

Terry is a passionate runner and endurance athlete having complete 4 Comrades marathons (56 mile runs) and in excess of 30 marathons and ultra-marathons. In his spare time he loves to travel with his wife, Tiffany, and enjoy the great African outdoors.
